Privacy Policy

ARDA ("we", "us") operates this website — a marketplace where real estate developers in Bali publish their projects and buyers browse them, save favourites and send enquiries. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who can see it and what you can do about it. It applies to everyone who uses the site: visitors, registered buyers and developer teams.

What we collect

Account data. When you register we store your name, email address and a hash of your password — never the password itself. Developer accounts additionally carry the company details the developer submits for verification: legal name, contact details and the documents supporting them.

Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them only to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google password, we request no other Google data, and we never post anything to your Google account.

Enquiries and requests. When you send an enquiry about a project or unit, we store the message together with the contact details you chose to include, and deliver it to the developer of that project — that delivery is the point of the feature.

Content you save. Wishlists, saved searches and similar conveniences are stored with your account so they are there when you come back.

Usage data. Like most websites we collect technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit) and use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.

What we use it for

To run your account and keep it secure; to deliver your enquiries to the developer you addressed; to verify developers before their listings go public; to answer your support messages; and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who can see it

A developer sees the enquiries addressed to their own projects, including the contact details you put in them. Our infrastructure providers process data on our behalf: Google Cloud hosts the service and its databases, and Cloudflare sits in front of the site as its network edge. Nobody else receives your personal data unless the law requires us to hand it over.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage for what they were invented for: keeping you signed in and remembering interface preferences. Analytics cookies measure aggregate traffic. We run no advertising trackers.

Where it lives and how long

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in Europe, encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to the people who operate the service. We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account — or ask us to — and we remove the personal data attached to it, except records we must keep to comply with the law or to resolve disputes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or to delete it, and object to a use of it. Write to us at the address below and we will answer; if you are in a jurisdiction that grants you formal data-protection rights, we honour them.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date. A change that meaningfully affects what we do with your data will also be announced on the site.
